Our tech and digital classes are designed to be practical and useful. Bring along your own technology troubleshooting questions and we can work through things with you simply. We’ll help you practice the same thing 10 times so you really get it, and promise to be gentle and simple with our instructions so you can really get it!

Learn the basics of AI – practical and relevant for day to day use

Have you heard about this AI thing everyone is talking about? Want to get your head around how AI can save you time and money? Well Thom will help you get your foot in the door with this AI basics course.

This is a beginners AI course, if you know how to turn on a computer you can do this course!

By the end of the course you will:

Realise how much you’re already using AI and how to extend this
Know more about how to stay safe online
Be able to create an image or art from simply typing your request (called a prompt)
Be able to complete easy research on your next holiday, car or present for the grandkids,

Free for over 55’s

Feel more confident with your own device – mobile phone, tablet, iPad or laptop – in a relaxed, supportive group just for older folk. Bring your own device so we can set it up for you

Bite off tech chunks one at a time

We’ll cover everyday essentials like texting, taking and sharing photos, and simple settings that make your device work for you. Lots of hands‑on practice, friendly guidance and time to ask questions
