Our team at Healesville Living and Learning Centre brings together educators, community workers and volunteers from backgrounds in adult education, community development and social support. We’re committed to creating an inclusive space where people in the Healesville region can build skills, connect, and contribute to a stronger local community.

People behind our Programs

Nich Rogers

Executive Officer

Nich has been supporting and leading community organisations for over 25 years.

He has worked in executive management and consulting roles across Community Development, Housing and Homelessness, Mental Health, Youth, Out of Home Care, Community Legal, and Alcohol and Other Drug service settings.

Nich has post-graduate psychology qualifications and an Advanced Diploma of Business Management.

Shona Rimmer

Community Development Coordinator

Shona Rimmer is our HLLC community development specialist with strong skills in consultation and co-design activities.

Shona manages our site activities at 1 Badger Creek Rd, Healesville.

Shona identifies as someone with a lived and living experience of mental health challenges and views this as central to understanding the strengths and needs of others in the community.

Lesley Stewart

Administration Officer

Lesley Stewart is the HLLC Administration Officer. She supports our operational and administrative functions  like taking bookings, planning meetings and communicating important information

Simon Jaensch

Finance Officer

Simon Jaensch is our HLLC Finance Officer, he oversees  financial functions. Simon’s responsibilities include financial reporting and compliance.

Vinn Grimson

Youth Specialist

Vinn is a community projects volunteer with us. He helps out with planning for new activities, advertising and promotion and generally hanging out and showing people around.

 

 

Kath Gannaway

Projects

Kath Gannaway leads specific events and activities for us, and helps with our communications activities too. Kath has been part of HLLC for many years and has great wisdom about our organisation.

Mark Thomson

Mark helps maintain our gardens and buildings. He is an experienced gardener who generously volunteers his time in supporting the Centre
